SUMMARY:

BANDIT 8 IS A CROOK. I paid BANDIT8 $360 on 05/19/2008 for his 2 front trans am seats and all I have gotten from him is the run-around!

I asked him to get me the tracking number when he got it and he told me he would email it to me in ther morning. 8 Days go by (5/27) and I haven't got the tracking number, so I message him. (5/30) He has still not responded so I message him again. (5/30 end of day) He has still not responded so I message him that if he doesn't respond to me I will take steps to get a refund. He was definitely ignoring me because he does have activity on the forums during this whole time. (6/9) I still have not heard from him so I file a complaint on PayPal. (6/10) I call and get him on his cell phone. He states he is issuing me a PayPal refund as we speak, and he sends me a PM. (6/11) I still don't get the refund, I PM him and email PayPal. (6/12) PayPal states BANDIT8 has not given them a response nor has he issued a refund. (6/13) I PM him again and he finally responds on (6/15), claiming his PayPal account is frozen and he cannot issue the refund until the complaint process is over. I know this is complete bullshit because I emailed PayPal and they said that he still has not responded to them and he does have the option to issue a refund. (6/20) Complaint process is complete and he had never responded to PayPal. PayPal was unable to claim any funds from his account because he has a 0 balance. (6/25) I send him another PM asking him to issue the refund and to notify me of any efforts he makes to do so.

It is now 7/7 and I have not received a refund or any messages from BANDIT8 so I left him negative trader feedback.

I had sent you $360 via pay pal on May 19th for your front 2 Trans Am seats. I recall that you were very good at communicating with me before I made the payment, but haven't heard from you since. This is the 3rd private message I have sent you on the site to which I have yet to receive a single response. Can you please let me know what the status is of the goods that I had ordered from you? If I do not hear from you in a timely manner, I will begin taking the necessary steps to get my money refunded.

You filed a complaint with paypal and they froze my account. I told them to give you the money back but cant untill the process is finished. I am not ignoring you at all. Dude the PayPal case has been closed for 4 days already. When the hell are you going to refund my money?! PayPal has confirmed with me that you DID NOT respond to the complaint. If you think you did, then you did it incorrectly. You have not copied me on any communications you claimed to have sent to PayPal.

Please refund the entire $360 I paid you by July 7th and NOTIFY me of any efforts you make, or CC me any emails you send to PayPal. If you do not refund the amount by then, I will have to file a complaint with your local authorities.

Keep us updated. I've started a list of scammers so I know not to deal with them. I've made a lot of deals on here, never with a problem until my last transaction but I will not make another transaction without phone #'s and addresses. I've been amazed at the amount of support i've received on this site.

correct me if i am wrong, but doesnt paypal refund you when they file a judgement in the buyers favor? or is that just on ebay transactions?

OP, how did you pay for them? Did you use a credit card with paypal? If so file a chargeback with your credit card company you will get your money back. If you used a regular checking account you are pretty much SOL.

Damn, I almost bought a borla catback he/she had for sale but his story kept changing about shipping and he/she took forever to respond to my questions, but he/she was quick to ask when and how I would send the money. I had a gut feeling he/she was a scammer.
