Default 01-02's haave no EGR, right?

im planning on removing my AIR system, and i was looking at some blockoff plates on the ls1speed website, and noticed that they sell 01-02 EGR blockoff plates also. is that just a mistake, or do 01-02's have EGR also?

The cams changed in 01, they are more emmisions friendly. So no more EGR needed
