Mine ran low 12's but there are alot of variable,that go into it. Elevation,temp,humidity,traction. But in general prolly low 12s

You mean low 13s and even so, thats more in the M6 LS1s range

We are at or right below sea level.I plan on going to moroso if it stops raining. So I should expect 13.4-13.7 (if I launch right). What should I do to launch and is are the differences in launching at the track than on thestreet?

Mid to low 13's. The fastest ever run very high 12's. I think the top dog is like 12.8. M6 and power shifting (shifting without letting off the gas).

If you're running above a 13.5 or so, you either need some practice driving or your car needs a tune up. I ran a 12.98 with just header into cutouts and a lid and $100 street tires (Sumo's). It was my first and only trip to the track ever. Granny shifting.


EDIT: And, in answer to your other question, I would "launch" at about 2,000 or so to start and quickly release the clutch. But, I'm no expert. Tire spin is bad, as is "bogging." You want to barely chirp the tires.

I launch at about 2200 RPM in my A4. On street tires i had to roll into the throttle to keep from spinning the tires. The best 60' time I got was right at 2.0 sec. Your 60' time is the best gauge of how well you launched it. Only practice will tell you how you need to launch.

Your first time out don't be concerned too much with your e.t. Worry more about learning to drive your car. In my '91 Camaro I took .7 sec off my e.t. by learning how to drive it.

Don't forget to leave on the 3rd yellow, not on the green light.

Stock I ran 13.6/13.7 on 1.9 60's I am pretty close to sealevel as I am about 65 miles from the beach.

Sea level is based off of New York Harbor. So Theoretically, a beach in California could be hundreds of feet above sea level. Just a fun fact. Its more of a generalization.

13.6 is about right though. 1.9 isn't too horrible either.
