i think most of us leave the good looks to the outside the car and the convienience and hp.under the hood, especially when your under it on a daily basis adding or adjusting something, the more space the faster and cleaner things go.

I think you should go for it if you have the money, 200 bucks aint that bad and it frees up a whole hell of alot of space. Good Luck

It seems to me that the FRC's would install easier with the coil relocation kit.

Thanks....I actuallly found them right after I posted but couldn't find the post to edit it......The mony isn't too big of a deal but I would rather prioritize my spending on mods. 200 bucks could buy a pulley or TB which I don't have yet. Christams is on the way too. I thought it would look killer with powerdercoated valvecoves but cant justify the spending at the time. Are they less accessible with the kit? It looks like they might be.

if you are asking if the valvecovers are less accesable i will have to laugh that is one of the main ideas behind moving them is to make working in there much more open. you will have full view or the covers. and will take 2 minuntes to take them off.

No, I was talking about the coil packs, in case I would have to take them off for some reason.

just relocate the coils yourself
costs about $10 in parts from Lowes or HomeDepot
then get a set of univeral Taylors ($50-60) with LT1 boots
I read that LT1 wires will fit, but i havent seen any evidence to back it up. But if it is true, that'll be even cheaper.

I bought a set of the universals for my project. And my valvecovers are getting done by Jantzer. He's removing the coil bosses (and getting the holes TIG'd in) and polishing them with a clear powdercoat on top

and as for accesibility, if you do the cheap relocation method with zipties, instead of bolting them to the cowl, if you need to remove them or take them out, just cut the zipties off and replace em

Xtreme, you read my mind , I asked Jantzer about the valvecovers without the bosses last week, thus the reason for this post. When I saw the price was 200.00 I was like wtf. OK i can see 70.00 or so for the plug wires, but 130.00 for some brackets and hardware. You have instructions on how your doing it or a recipe of parts. Thanks.
