It wont hurt anything but you wont get the same results as a better catback.

Here we go again.................. lol. It wont hurt anything at all, the car does gain from it and I have dyno numbers from that set up to prove it. You just dont gain as much as other kits out there thats all..... If you like the sound leave it. If you dont or believe in the "it makes your car slower" then change it.

All these guys are absolutely right. Flowmaster will NOT hurt performance over stock (unless you had a Firehawk or SS with SLP dual/dual stock). It's just that the gains are a bit less than the straight-thru style mufflers.

The CME uses the same dual/dual muffer as the non-CME cars that received dual/dual systems as a Y2Y option from SLP.

If you like the sound leave it there and just get a cut out.

I bought my WS6 used, and the only mod was a Flowmaster muffler. I had full intentions of changing it to something better, but I'm leaving it.

Damn it sounds good.

I have a flowmaster and nothing beats the sound who cares if it's not the highest flowing system thats why you get a cutout.

Quite frankly no cat-back is going to out flow true duals.

I have a FM on my stock TA. It sounds like a rocket ship. Interested to see what it sounds like when I throw on LT's. Will probably go with a Magnaflow at some point and sell this one for dirty cheap.

On top of what everyone says, blowmasters are made out of galvanized aluminum and will corrode and rust rather quickly. They tend not to last very long in comparison to those made out of stainless steel (such as Borla, Magnaflow, Corsa, and a few others.)
