no......the only thing you will gain is less friction and more stability in the valvetrain. but before anyone chimes in and debates me, the friction you lose will not gain you anything more than maybe 1 hp if your lucky.

Incresed rocker ratio (going from a 1.7 to a 1.8 ratio raises your net valve lift) will net some hp. But just installing rollers will usally give you more high rpm stability, and it may inturn quiet down your valvetrain at all rpms.

you might see another 5hp from increasing lift, but your not increasing duration, only speeding the valves up in turn losing the vavletrain stability you gained in the first place.

1.8 rockers are worthless unless your cam is ground for them. period.

no, much better mods out there for the money that will actually net you something.

if i stole your car, didnt tell you what i was doing with it and installed 1.8 RR's and gave it back to you, you wouldnt even know something was done.

all aftermarket cams that i know of are ground for 1.7 rockers. if you get a custom cam ground for 1.8 rockers, then you will see a gain from the rockers. it will have the ramp rate and duration ground into it to take advantage of the added lift without speeding the valves up a lot.

i had the SLP LM1 on my car with stock manifolds and y, and liked it, but when i changed to LT's and true duals, the LM went bye bye and never looked back.

before i built the engine, i had TSP TD's with dynomax bullets dumped. sounded really good, but it was loud as hell.

then i built the engine and installed a moser 9 inch and the TD's the way they were routed, wouldnt clear the larger rear end, so i put Moroso spiral flows right off the collectors, and it sounded good as well, but hella loud.

my next setup consists of the same x pipe i had with the TSP TD's, but with flowmaster 40 series delta force race mufflers. still going to be loud, but should sound great.

i like loud incase you havent noticed...
