all truck coils are supposed to perform better than ls1 coils, with the ones that have the heat sink being the best.

No problem. Hope if you do it that they do make better power. I have seen cars that seem to react better to them and seen cars that really dont show a difference. I think it just depends on a car to car basis. But good luck.

If you do decide to do it you should post on here your results!

Got ya. Im sure there are enough guys on here that have tried it to let you know if its worth the upgrade.

Have you at all thought about the MSD coils? I know for sure they show gains as I have several buddies that have them on their cars and picked up a tenth in the quarter. They arnt cheap tho

Is it through an auto or a m6? And what other mods are going/done to the car?

Im not sure if that will bolt onto the ls1 block or not. I'm sure you would need to change the tailshaft and bell housing.

If your planning on just doing a ls6 cam and 241 heads I would just stick to the 4l60e trans because the m21 will eat up some power.

I would think you would be in the ballpark of somewhere around 350 to the tires or so. If I were you I would look into getting atleast a 224/224 cam tho. Then you can be upwards of around 380 to 400rwhp.

Let me ask you this.... How much power are you wanting to make on this build? Then Ill give you some suggestions on how to achieve it.

I gotta tell you I feel pretty silly but what is a pm

Forget my last, I know.

Got it. I got an ls6 cam and springs w/0 miles from guy for 150, so I think I am going w/that. The rest of motor is stock ls1 but have Prof Prod intake.
