I just got hooker lt's, a mufflex off road Y pipe, and a borla cat back. before i take it to get put together is there anything else i need. am i going to have to buy high flow cats or would my pipes be long enough to leave the cats off. Ive never done a full exhaust before so i could use some advice. thanks

You won't need cats if you have the Mufflex off road y-pipe.

you may need O2 Extentions with your headers. Check with Hooker to determine what length the Extentions need to be. I would guess 18" or 24". Also if you are still running stock exhaust with rear O2 sensors, you may want to pick up so O2 Simulators or u will need to get the rear O2 sensors Tuned out, since you will be going catless.

I would tune the rear 02's out if you get a dyno tune. No need for cats with the off-road ypipe..it will be a little stinker and louder but nothing major. Good luck

You should add a set of Prothane Poly Motor Mounts to your accessory list.

The best time to upgrade your mounts is while the exhaust manifolds/headers are removed.

Its also the best insurance against your new Mufflex ORY banging on your floorpan when you punch the throttle after your LT/ORY/Catback install.

I don't think anyone manufactures 02 sims anymore. Your going to need a tune regardless, so just have them tune out the rear 02s. GL

I just put LT's on my 99 WS6, pulled the cats and went with Borla, 4inch tips are fine, the car sounds pissed off... love it. Have the rear O2's tuned out. If you got a 6spd they can eliminate that annoying skip shift. I like the Borla exhaust, personal preference.

As long as he has that muffler with the ORY then the noise shouldnt be unbearable. Mine isnt at least. Just be sure to tune those bad boy O2 sensors out or it will run like absolute crap.
