Car shuttin off at stops! hi guys, my friends z28 has been having some problems as of lately. He'll start up the car, starts up fine and runs good for about 2 mins.. As soon as he comes to a stop or nearly stopping, the car will turn off.. I'm thinkin it might be the sparkplugs or maybe he needs a tune up.. Do ya'll think it could maybe be a more serious problem?? sorry for the newb question but we ain't mechanics, obviously.. thanks guys!

Is the car throwing any SES codes? Is it a stock car? If not, whats done to it? Just for started I would check and make sure your MAF is clean, if the sensor itself is dirty the car can have issues with idle and staying running. I would also check to see if your O2 sensors are fouled or not.
