Question WTF is going on?

What could be making me get low gas mileage? I drove about 60miles and consumed 1/2 a tank of fuel. WTF is going on?

Tune up? How old are spark plugs? Driven like a race car driver or old man? Add some long tube headers. Get a 6 speed....or a diff DD lol.

Won't 02 sensors mess with gas mileage? Also, is your air filter, fuel filter, and Mass air flow sensor clean?

I gotta argee with the guys saying that we don't have enough info.

Almost anything can cause poor MPG. If you have no other symptoms besides gas mileage, then start with the basics and go from there (basics meaning even as simple as tire pressures, as mentioned above).

I agree. Proper maintenance is a must!!

New Plugs
wires
air filter
fuel filter
Clean the MAF (MAF cleaner sold at most parts stores i.e. O'Reilly's, etc)
O2 sensors could also be going bad. Have the car scanned for those. they can get expensive but you really only need the front two.
Tire pressure helps more than you'd think
Think that's about it. Depending on the mileage on your car, I would replace all fluids as well. Tranny, rear, motor oil, and coolant. Those don't really affect your gas mileage, but a properly maintained vehicle is less likely to cause problems down the road. If after all of that you still experience bad mpg's then you either need to reevaluate your driving habits or have a tuner look at it.

bad maf will cause this, though it should be throwing a code for this.

The car is about to hit the 100k mark. What are some good lubes to install to help keep the car running smoothly? I want to do a full tune up. I need info on spark plugs, wires, lubes for tranny, differencial lubes ect...For a stock car that will be modded in the near future.

I would change plugs and clean MAF. Then I would take battery cable off to reset computer so it can relearn. If problem persist I would change o2 sensers.
