tv2 without tune?

tv2 without tune? im getting a rebuild and most likely going tv2 with 2.5 5.3 heads. its an m6 and cam will be on a 112. will it run fine for a week or two till i can get a tune? should i buy a tuner on the internet and give it a temporary tune?

It will suck to drive and if it is rich you could wash the cylinder walls down with fuel and the rings will NEVER seat properly. Handhelds are useless for your application too as they are just a canned tune. At the very least get a mail order tune from somebody like Frost or Alvin at Tick, Wait4me tuning, Nelson Wheatley etc.....then get it tweaked later.....
If there is somebody close by they will prolly tweak it cheap if you buy your first tune (mail order) from them.....
