Default MSD WIRES and LONGTUBES

Does anyone here run MSD wires, I have a set at home and while the car is down, may swap them in for stockers....however upon install, the 2nd cylinder on, on the driver side rubs the header..it would be on the grey boot part, but would the header melt that?? Or are MSD wires made for it?

Basically, can the grey part of an MSD wire touch a header and not burn through? Obviously the red wire would melt, but would the grewy part? Seems heavy duty but like it would rest on it.

No boot is MADE to withstand laying on a primary... it will melt. The MSD boots are however bendable so you can flex it the way you need to get clearance and it will stay.

Yes it will burn it very quickly, but the MSDs are bendable so twist the wire around on the plug tip and bend it and it should be able to be centered inbetween the primaries.

MSD wires are bendable thats why they are so COOL. You shouldn't have any problems, throw them on!
