A few questions about a Typhoon Intake??
I have found a Typhoon LS!1-LS6 intake for sale.
It says they come with a 85mm or 96mm inlet........what do I need for my 98 LS1 Camaro?
Do I still use my factory fuel rails, intake bolts, etc?
Any opinions on the Typhoon vs a factory LS6 intake?

I just installed the 85mm intake on my 2000 Trans Am all new fuel rails and intake bolts come with the kit. You will need the ls6 coolant crossover lines as well as rear block offs for the rear of the block. It was a fairly simple install once I got the right coolant lines. If you go with 85mm you won't need to change your fuel injectors either which is nice.

You should get a set of button-head screws for the valley
cover because the stock bolt heads can interfere with
seating / sealing. I posted a source & info in my install
thread, back when.
If you go with the 85mm you can reuse stock bellows
and so on. I think the 96mm is overkill unless you have
a monster cam or extra displacement.
