I just ordered a Lous Short stick to be paired with the factory Hurst Shifter on my 02' WS6.

I have been reading about people saying that the factory Hurst isnt suited for hard shifting and you can bend shift forks because there isn't a stop shift bolt like in the PRO 5.0 shifter.

Is this true??

Should I even bother giving the factory Hurst shifter a chance if I like to bang through the gears occasionally at the drag strip??
