Hey guys,

Could anyone point me toward a good (and cheap) option for an AWD transmission that'll mate up with LS series that can take some abuse (drag, autox, etc)?

I've been thinking about getting myself a V8 pretty soon. I'm about sick and tired of H4 and I6 and how much they cost to make power. Anyway, I wanted to do something a little "different."

I still haven't decided on a body yet, hoping to find something cheap.

My thought would be to find a 4L70E from an AWD TBSS. You could probably find a LS2/4L70E dropout from a wrecked one if you looked hard enough. What kind of car would it be going in?

i would figure out what body it is going in first cause your gonna have some packaging issues to get around. Why do you want AWD?
