your probably going to need a tune to get the car to run right, i went with the torquer V2 cam and the car was always stalling out coming up to a stop. it ran super rich and had massive hesitation. once it was tuned it drove like stock. one big thing i regret, before i put the headers in place i should have done the motor mounts, that "should" stop the ory from banging on the floor boards.

Before we recommend anything, what are you goals for this car? What do you use it for?

Cam, springs, pushrods, t-chain, oil pump, oil pump o-ring, cam gasket kit, and a tune when it's all installed. That is what will get the cam installed.

As far as bolt on mods, I would definitely have the basics like a lid, good intake, LT headers and free flowing exhaust, and at least a 3600 stall speed cam. Remember that is a lot of cam, so the bigger the converter the further into the powerband of the cam it will flash and the faster the car will be. Also, in a perfect world, if you go with a big stall, you need to back it up with some gear. Let me know if you have any other questions!

drop the ms4 and get thunder racing TREX. MS4 has to much hype and i walk on ms4 cams. not saying there not good but trex has bark and bite that match. but do it right dont take short cuts ull regret it.

If you want to go with the TSP MS4 cam i would go with there 5.3 heads also....It comes in a package with the cam, Youll need a good free flowing exhaust and a good free flowing intake system. MS4 is a big cam though and may be difficult for daily driving.

i dd a bigger cam than the ms4 and have never had a problem with it unless you count people starring at me because it sounds like a beast all the time. i have people roll down window everyday and say my **** sounds mean as hell and always want to talk about it. just remember its all your setup and tune. i dd my cam everyday and never have problem with it and its not even tuned fully. just remember its all your setup and tune though. read all about cams before deciding just type it in the search column.
