Default What goes here?!

Hey guys I'm swapping in an LS6 into my 98 and have a quick question for you all. What goes on the 'stem' on the rear drivers side valve cover [top left of the picture]? On the LS1 I thought it was part of the PCV system but the LS6 has the new valley cover where the external is no longer necessary. So what exactly connects to this 'stem' piece? Do I need to get some sort of plug or is there a hose that should go to it? Thanks

Thanks guys, just wanted to make sure. Now is there a specific plug I need to get for this to fit inside the tube? Like a GM part? Or do I just need to find a cover [similar to those red nipple covers]?

Yeah it's for the PCV system. If you plug it, make sure you get some kind of breathing setup on the motor to release the crank case pressure! It has to have some kind of breathing on it!
