Default fast 102 tb and intake?

hey guys, i have a 2000 ss m6 and was thinking of getting a new tb and intake. i was looking on texas speed and was gunna get the fast 102 mm intake and tb but i still have stock heads. would this upgrade be over kill at this point? i have an slp air lid, LTs, OR-Y and SLP loudmouth exhaust atm. would love some input on this.

Thanks

Overkill for now but excellent for future mods if you going heads/cam and staying n/a.

I would not get the 102 yet. The 102 sees most of its gains over 6000 rpms which is past the point where the stock cam is making power. I would get the LS6/ported tb and save for H/C.

you can sell the ls6 intake and ported TB later if you decide to get a fast.

Yes get the 102, but stick with a 90 or 92mm TB for now. Even on a stock motor the 102 will gain everywhere over the LS6 and will gain more when you add more mods.
