Default Manley valve springs 221436-16

Got some new NexTek springs in trade for some old parts from my past car. Was wondering if I should put these in my ls1 with only a stock cam and if there is anything that needs to be done to use them?

IMO, that is WAY more spring than you need on a stock cam.

Will it have any bad side affects if they were installed?
