Might want to give us some more info on what you want. There are tons of options, some are insanely loud, others mild except at WOT, others in between.

My personal preference is my magnaflow. It is pretty mild until you get on it, then its pretty loud.

You could also try a search, there seems to be a "what's the best exhaust" thread every other day!

But anyways, try out the ls1sounds website posted earlier, there's a lot of videos!

He lives in Louisiana, not Iowa....just a heads up.

I have no idea what LA emission laws are. but yea, you should search rather than ask a very broad question like that. and check out LS1sounds.com !

I would recommend a Magnaflow catback. Magnaflow sounds really nice for these cars. It has a nice mellow tone at idle and when driving around town, but really opens up if you step on the gas.

i have magnaflow and its okay..not really happy with it. im not sure why people think magnaflow think its loud. If i could do it over again i would go with hooker catback, GMMG, or TSP duals!!

i have hooker comp LTs to ORY to borla cat back no restrictor plates, its loud and im not the kind of person that thinks a flowmaster on a stock exhaust is "too loud", it sounds good not as deep as i like but i still like it for what it is, from what i have and heard and read though if i was to redo it id get same headers and ory but get the GMMG exhaust they sound mean, and all the sound doesn't only come out the pass side tip lol
