Default 383 ls1s come in !!!!!

Just wondering what kind of power your putting down ? thinking of going with a 383 just need to see what power range these are in ! im wanting to make atleast 450rwhp thanks for your input

I put down 432 rwhp and 466 rwtq through a built 4l60e locked in 2nd gear...It was a 388 Iron block with 11.5:1 compression, Dart cnc 220cc 2.08/1.60, 228 .595cam,..This was in a 99 reg cab 2wd truck ...

-I think 450 rwhp is doable *but* the important thing is how it performs...dont get caught up too much on dyno numbers...Just build a solid proven performer

ls1 383 tsp stage2 ls6 head or tfs220 ,fast 92/102mm intake with the right cam will make 500/500.

Far and few between....but 450 is pretty common... I have personally seen 480 in m6 cars.

It is not cheap though.....

ya buddy go bigger 427!! lol go big or go home!! lol i was thinking on a 383 on mine also... but im looking at nos instead... possibly nos and a 383

A 383 would be a nice all motor build. . . . Boy I wish I had money. . . . I say 450 would be a nice number to shoot for as long as you have the rest. Like a set of headers and a good intake/TB setup.
