Exclamation Hello Guys Just Got My First Trans Am, But Need some Help!

Ok I have a 2001 Trans Am, my buddy told me that I need special oil for the car. So I went to auto zone because they have the best parts and i asked they guy what is the best oil for my 2001 trans am ws6 and he told me mobile 1 beacsue the use it for racing in nascar and they are the fastest cars out there so i will agree with him on that one. but i am not sure on how much to use i already drained all the old oils so i canot leave so how much would my car take?

Actually it's 5.5 quarts. But you'll have to buy 6 quarts. I always use 5W30. It should also say in your owners manual...

I put this special oil in all the containers with caps on them like the one on the side of the engine. But I just took it out and my breaks are feeling weird.

yea they can use the synthetic fluid but not all the fluid is the same but while your up there if your blinkers arent working you might need to grab some blinker fluid. its a pain to refill because you have to go under teh front bumper and actually put it in the housing
