LS1 swap into 94 V6 Camaro
I have a friend that bought an LS1 motor and he wants to put it in a former V6 car. I told him not to and that he was asking for a headache. Has anyone done this? I figured he'd have to rewire the whole car with new electronics and wires for the gauges and everything to work.

I'd rather have the whole donor car while doing it.
If all he has is an assembled long block, it'll be trouble.
What all does he have? I mean, this swap is much easier than say, swapping it into a 3rd gen or a C4 or something.

All he has is the complete V6 car and then the motor (complete from pan to intake) with wiring harness and computer. However, that computer won't just plug right into the other car.
