I didn't think they were that rare. I do get a lot of weird looks from people that get in my car though. You mean I have to roll down and up my window by hand? I'm going to get an ugly look as I get out of the car because I forgot to manually lock it?

sold mine a couple years ago. why the hell would you want one? I'd rather have the 150 or so lbs and enjoy AC and power everything.

Even though I've only seen one in person, I think they're awesome, very hardcore. No power windows, no power seats, no power locks etc., it really reminds me of an actual, authentic "Muscle Car" that you could buy back in the late 60's early 70's.

Good info there. Has anyone seen one of the SS cars listed in the chart? Only 16 automatic Super Sports were strippers. Sure to be a collector car in the future.

Its cool how there a little rare but I doubt they will be worth anything in the future. The only real people they appeal to are guys who are going to mod and race them. And Im sure if you take any type of F body and break it down to exact color, options, transmission they were all somewhat "rare" Its just if its something big enough to make it worth more money to someone who is buying it

I can agree with this, I don't think they will really turn into a big collector's item.

Besides, I don't think the stripped down F-Body's were THAT much lighter than the other cars with the standard options such as power windows, locks, etc.. Don't get me wrong, they're cool and unique to have but I'm just sayin'...

I've got a stripper car 02 z28 . it's a [1SC] optioned car its on the door tag . you lose more than a 150lbs . you lose here goes: no powerwindows,doorlocks,mirrors,seats,[4 motors in the drivers seat]no steering wheel controls, no cruise control ,no traction lock, no buttons on the doors ,no remote rear hatch. i bought this at a small dealer in st. louis. first got in it and knew it was different. had to have it. paid 11k for it in 07' and it had only 48k miles on it .only option on it is t tops, a4 and 3;23s monsoon, and no multidisc.i guess i'm just a caveman i love it it feels lighter and by the way i just gutted the a/c if i sweat who cares thats what makes us great we can have what we want. i would like to know how rare mine is though people in my area want them pretty bad.

hey zigzagz you think you could look up the 2002 stripper cars. i would really appreciate it.

I have a 2000 Pewter SS 1sc. No power nothing. no rear defrost crank windows. what ever you could delete it was. A/C came standard. Looked mine up and was a 1 of 1 in my color and beening a SS. I already cut into it and race it.

never really seen the point of a stripper car. it nice to have a 13 second car with power everthing. much nicer to be able to roll down both windows when waiting in line at the track. I dont see it adding value in the future either.
