Hey guys, CA resident here. I know most cams won't pass smog here, but I feel as if it's a crime to have an LS1 with a stock cam. I really want a G5X3, but I don't see that going over too well with this state's regulations.

My question is, what is the best cam that will pass emissions, if there is one at all? Thanks in advance.

Tsp's 224r on a 114 will pass or the thunder racing 220/220 on 114. And a good tune. Anything bigger I would suggest better flowing exhaust.(long tube headers & ory)

go see rick @synergy motorsports in fremont and have hime custom spec you a smog cam, hes a great tuner also.

Patrick-G can spec a smog cam,also consider a tr224@114 lsa.you need at least 5* negative overlap.
