Question how can I tell if my 99 SS Is real?
Can I tell by the vin number?

Look for the "WU8" code on the drivers side door jamb label. All SS's with the WU8 RPO code are real.

You can take your vin to your local dealer and they can print you a build sheet on your car that way you'll know for sure

^ WU8 is the fastest and easiest way to tell.
