260 for install pretty good price right??
Ok so I'm about to get my torque converter installed wit a tranny cooler for 260 everywhere iv looked they want 400 and up pretty good deal?? Also I talked to a performance shop and they say to put 300 to 500 miles on the converter before a tune y is tht and is 200 a good price for street tune or 300 for street tune and dyno run

I'm wondering the same thing I just don't want it bouncing off the rev limiter if it doesn't then I'll wait on the tune if it does then off to the shop I go

The price sounds about right for an install. Someone told you correct, the converter should be "broken in" before your tune, and before you romp on it hard.(I know the temptation is there).
