rebuild kits Havn't been on here lately, but I let my exgirlfriend use my Z28 and she didn't bother to check the oil, so now I have a bad engine knock. Where is the best and cheapest place I can get a rebuild kit from. Pretty tight on cash at the moment.

is the knock really bad? A friend had the same thing happen to his lt1 a while back. Since it wasnt his DD, he drove it like that for a while and now claims the noise went away. 
But then the knock wasnt that bad.
Im not saying to do the same, but if youre sure it needs a rebuild, i would look into summitracing or maybe even jegs. I know they have one for tha lt1, so im guessing the ls1 too.

I don't know of a complete rebuild kit for your car, not sure if its a lt1 or ls1 but it doesn't matter. I know you can buy bottom end kits, top end kits etc. But I am not sure if they sell a complete engine rebuild, I could be wrong I just have never seen one.
