Default About to do a ton to my f-body, any additional suggestions?

This weekend there were some insane sales going on so I ordered a ton of stuff for my '98 z28, here's what I'm going to have someone do but I was wondering if there's anything else I should do at the time. I've seen on LS1Tech people recommend doing motor mounts, spark plugs, flexplate, and wires while doing this stuff. Thoughts on that?

This is what I have coming in the mail:

Pacesetter long tubes
Texas speed off road Y-pipe
Texas speed rumbler cat back
Yank SS 3600 stall converter
Big trans cooler
UMI:
- 3 point weld in subframe connectors,
- crossmember mounted torque arm w/ driveshaft loop,
- weld in LCA relocation brackets,
- on car adjustable panhard bar & lower control arms

So are spark plugs, wires, flexplate, and poly motor mounts somethings I should do? The car has 137k on it (I know that's a lot but the car was babied and maintained very well)

Anything else I should do while all that other stuff is being done?

Thanks.

Motor mounts are a lot easier to do with the manifolds/headers out of the way...definitely something to do while you're in there if you can. Plugs and wires are definitely a good maintenance item if the ones on the car are old. Can't really say about the flexplate, though.

id get an aftermarket cover if you have a stock rear and some MTs for traction.

I would not worry about the flex plate on a '98-'00 car, for an application like yours. The '01+ stock plate is weaker, but you have the better one which should be fine for your setup.

Buy a muffler, that ORY/rumbler setup is too raspy.

I just bought a flowmaster 10 3" in/out muffler and the sound is incredible with an ORY.

I've already got 15" prostars with MT ET streets ready to go on the car once all these parts go on 10" wide wheels in the back, 6" up front. 10.5" wide tire out back.

Yeah I knew going into the order that it'd be super loud, but FWIW, the car will only be cruising at night or going to the track. It's not my DD.

Cutout! Install a manual/electric cutout while your down there, very inexpensive if you just go with a manual one.

What's the fun in that? Half the fun is building the car and being able to say you did all the work and put your blood and sweat in the car.

I'm going to be having a shop do the work. I'm in metro Detroit so there are plenty to choose from and the pricing is very competitive. Plus, the labor on a LOT of this stuff overlaps which is why I'm doing all of this.

Quick Reply: About to do a ton to my f-body, any additional suggestions?
