Default Oil buildup on water pump bolts - Normal?

Sorry if this has been covered before but could not find anything searching for it. I just picked up an LH6 from a junk yard to swap into an old car. The motor has 94000 miles on it but was inexpensive and the car it is going into will be lucky if it is driven 10,000 miles in the next 10 years.

When I removed the water pump I noticed that 3 of the 6 bolts had a lot of oil sludge build up it really looks like heavy grease. Below is a picture of the bolts. The coolant looked fine and the coolant passageways look clean as well.

Is this normal or is there something wrong with this motor?

Default

its crap that builds up on the bolts.....the bolt holes do not go into the water jacket.....so that leaves any crap that gets past the bolt heads to gum up over time
