Question FAST LSXR intake manifold

I have an 02 SS Camaro w/heads, cam, shorties (CA), 3100 stall, 3.73 gears, LS1 Tune and injectors. I have approx. 373HP in the rear. Would really like to get a little more. I'm considering purchasing the FAST LSXR intake manifold from summit. Just under 1K. Eww, kind of expensive. Please someone advise me if this is worth it....Thank you in advance.

That's really the questioned....I just wanted to know if anyone saw any gains and were happy with it. The cost is pretty pricey, but if you were happy then it's worth it. :-)

why bother, your heads and exhaust won't flow enough to make a lot more power. You will see an increase, but not as much as if you had longtubes and heads.

Thanks, yeah for some reason I did not see that he had heads... re read it and now I see it. Absolutely, that intake will take you anywhere you want to go with power. It is a shame that you cant have longtubes, I suppose you will make it work somehow.

I guess there is always turbo kits, they are shorty style headers...

Yeah, it's a shame...But I'm restricted w/shorties thanks to CA law. Thank you very much for your imput. I guess 15HP is worth $800 to $1000 at this point. Prob wise to invest in a bigger throttle body or should stock be enough???

Well the fast lsxr is 102mm and stock is 75mm, so it wont fit right.
