Default LS6 IM numbers

Where on the IM can the part numbers be found. I've searched the crap out of this site and I can find plenty of threads that show what numbers designate LS1/LS6 but never find where the numbers can be found. Have an 01 Z and from what I understand, in most cases it should have an LS6 IM, but this is not always the case.

The Stock 2001-2002 F-body LS6 is 12561184

The Z06 LS6 is 12573572

Unless changed out by yourself or a previous owner, you have an LS6 intake. Is it equipped with EGR?

Agreed, check those casting numbers. They're stamped in the mold of the intake right under where the fuel rails run.

Keep in mind, not having EGR doesn't mean it is an LS6 manifold....there were some Corvettes without EGR that has the LS1 manifold.
