I was looking into the BBK SSI Intake Manifold and Throttle Body package for 97-04 GM LS1 & LS6 cars. (link: http://www.bbkperformance.com/produc...?car_motor_key)

I have a couple of questions about this setup.
1. Does the BBK intake manifold require the coolant plugs and lines like the LS6 intake manifold does?
2. Does the BBK force you to remove EGR?
3. There are two options for the BBK throttle bodies, one says Cable Style and the other says Electronic Control. Stock the LS1, at least in the Camaro/Firebird has a cable off the TB so is that the one I would want or does it not matter? What are the pros and cons of each?

Search turned up lots of results but the information I was looking for must have been buried in all the other intake info on the site

To answer question no.3; the electronic control throttle bodies came on Corvettes and the cable style were on f-bodys.
