Default hose thats connected to the lid??

Anyone know what that hose is that connects to the side of the air lid?? I've had my car parked for a while and someone working on it from time to time.. I noticed that particular hose was missing.. Where does that hose lead?? And how would I go about replacing it?? Thanks in advance... - Naldo

That goes to the AIR pump. It's the part of the emissions system that pumps fresh air into the exhaust manifolds upon cold starts. Since you're in Texas don't bother replacing it, just yank all that **** off and plug the AIR fitting on your manifolds (or better yet get long tubes).

Plug the hold, remove the air pump, have the pump tuned out and enjoy!
