Motor / Car Vin number If you have an ls1 engine can you figure out the exact car it came from by just numbers on the motor? If so how do you do this?

Yes, I was able to run a Carfax on my LS1/4l60 by using the laser numbers on the block right above the oil filter.
Somebody on here created a post how to figure out the rest of the numbers needed for the VIN.
