I could be wrong, but I believe the LS2 had the same cam as the 2001 z06.

no there not, the ls2 cam is smaller. if you put an ls6 cam in an ls2 it would probably make more the 400 horses

Oh ok. Thank you for the info. I guess I will pass on the LS2 cam.

ls6 and ls2 cams have same specs. but i dont think they are interchangeable, one has 3 bolts the other doesnt. also the LS2 has different knock sensor or position sensor as well. if you are going thru the trouble just pick a slightly larger or better performing cam. ls2 or ls6 cam isnt worth the trouble.
