Default 6.0l blocks

is there a difference in the strength of the blocks from the early 366s compared to the newer 6.0l blocks and will cranks interchange ? thanks.

Lol... Are you serious? If you're referring to the early BBCs, then no. They are two COMPLETELY different engines. Nothing will interchange between the two.

Well maybe a bolt or 2... or maybe a carburetor if you're running carb'd on the 6.0.... but that's about it...

Some of the 6.0s had the SBC style bell housing I believe, so the transmissions will work in some cases...

Default 6.0l chevy

Let me ask this, if you were going to build a turbocharged carbed on alky, maybe 15 lbs. Boost with a forged crank, arp s etc. Bottom end, which would be the better chevy block early 366 or newer ?
