ok i tried searching this and got hundreds of threads but none with the pics or info im lookin for.

im wanting to swap my ls1 mani for the ls6, now i was told that they look very similar and really the only way to tell is by looking at the underside. now my question is what am i looking for? does anyone have comparison pics, like a ls1 intake next to a ls6 so i can see the difference. also what kind of performance differences am i lookin at? ive found a couple for sale local to me and i just wanna make sure im buying the right thing before i do it.

Both intakes look idenical except for the underside. The complete bottom of the regular LS1 is curved in shape whereas the LS6 bottom is completly flat period.

this is a direct bolt on right? i have a 99 formula.
