Default what size heads??

So now that ive got my cam, springs, headers and my tune done im thinking my next mod is to get some different heads. Ive got a LS1 with a 230/236 600 114 cam and LT headers with SLP exhaust. Ive been told to go with the 243 heads and another guy at a meet told me to go with the 5.3 heads. So basically i just wanna have the right heads to go with my set up any input helps Thanks.

if you are looking for stock unported heads get some 243 or 799 heads, you can get them for $400 or less.give them a valve job and some springs and seals.look at some ported TSP heads if thats in your budget.

Look into Advanced Inductions....they could also cnc your original heads for
about a 30-40 horse increase with milling. Check threads in the dyno section
to verify this.

sell the springs and just buy these heads and be done with it ...the first time .

also ,don't forget a set of 36lbs injectors and good tuner.

I would talk to various vendors to see what will work with your combination. You might be better to buy a heads/cam package that is proven to work together and sell your old cam. Are you still running the original intake. Probably want to upgrade that before you do heads or do them together.

ported 243s are nice. then theres AFR, trick flow, and ive heard MAST heads are killer but are very expensive.
