Are these well fitting headers, meaning are they virtually hugging the body? Or do they hang real low compared to the body?

Bigger and solid motor mounts will help by raising the motor up a bit (if it causes no other fitment problems). Otherwise your best bet would be suspension work with taller springs.

Take it to a exhaust shop and see if they can move it down a little more. Or what i did was get a piece of rubber hose between cat and bottom of car. Do that where it scraping untill you decide on the fix

Have an exhaust shop tuck it up tighter. Also it may help to position you cutouts differently if they are your low point.

Why two cutouts on a y-pipe? A pic of that might help a lot with an answer.

Its scraping the ground. No cats. Headers are tucked away real nice. They are Texas speed headers. I decided to go a little overboard with 2 cutouts. They are both before the merge of the ory obviously. Having trouble with the cutout on the left side mainly. They are qtp electric cutouts.

The cutouts are not that low but im mainly having trouble when all 4 wheels are squatting. Basically uneven roads at 45mph = scraping. So idk about stiffening the suspension or what?

I looked into the low profile cutouts but decided not to because of price. Love the sound of the car and id like to keep it but just need to know my options.

I would like to in the future raise the back end/ put bigger wheels and tires for more of an old muscle car look. Wont be seeing any track time. Its my DD/ weekend warrior.

My next move with the car is either a cam or suspension, wheels and tires.
