im sure thatll work but any type of penetrating spray/oil should be fine.

Have someone help you. Undo the steering linkage. Put new plugs and wires in during the install.

Replace motor mounts while you have the headers out.

Good pair of jack stands to get the front up at least 20''.

X2 on the motor mounts

Also, unbolting the tranny mount and jacking up the trans helped me to get around the casting tab on the driver side rear of the block.

Lining up the gasket and header flange to get the first bolt started is a PITA. Having a friend holding the header steady from underneath makes it much easier.

Have band aids ready lol

What kind of headers are you putting in?

Do you have your o2 extensions yes.

Band aids for when you make your sacrifice to the lsx gods

Are you doing it off the ground or on a lift.

Make sure you have a jack that can go pretty high, headers fit better by coming in threw the bottom.

most importante things i learned when i did mine:

take the car up as high as it will go!

dont wast your time on cheap gaskets. 4 passes at the strip and it sounded like i was runnin straight headers

o2 extentions are great. im pretty sure they are a must. or u will need to splice in wires

jack car as high as you can go take out all spark plugs and put headers in from the bottom would be easier with two people!
