There's tons of those on YouTube... not sure if there's too many of cutouts opening/closing on F Body's though.

I wouldn't put a manual cutout on and off while the car is running.

Done it once or twice but its not what I consider fun.

I got pretty quick at putting it on and off.. Total time was about 25 seconds or so. As long as the car had not been running for 10 mins or been started with 3-4 minutes it wasn't too hot.

I would start it and say DAMN IT!!! HAHA grab the wrench and get on it.. I kept the wrench in my center console.

I have known for a long time what I'm going to do when June let's go.. Just have to get the small details ironed out as well as buy some things.

6.0 aluminum
Ls3 intake
L92 heads
1 7/8 headers
Etc etc
Should be good for around 450rwhp and mid 10s.

There are different types of "rasp"; what you get with any sort of true dual setup sounds good to me too. But the kazoo-on-crack type of raspiness that comes from having an ORY with no muffler is just not good IMO.

HAHAHA...kazoo on crack!! Thats exactly what my car sounds like. I have the LT/ORY and on muffler. I think it sounds terrible. I bought the car this way and I think I will just throw a super 44 to the rear just to save face in my neighborhood.
