Default newbie ls1 90 chevy 1500 *pics*

just bought my good friends 1990 silverado 1500 with a 97 ls1 out of a wrecked camaro. got some power and not that big of a promblem with traction but im new too this and eventually id like to supercharge this truck, thats only if there is a way to set up my suspention so im not leaving black marks on every road. sometimes ha. if anyone else has some ideas or someone with a ls1 truck i would like to talk about it a little more, pictures

Just fyi...The 97 Camaro had the LT1 not LS1....The LS1 was first introduced in the 97 Vette, then 98 it was introduced to the camaro and firebird line.....

looking forward to the pics....short or long bed? ext. or reg cab?

then it could be a 98, but im sure its an ls1
and its a singlecab fleetside longbed i think might be shortbed, i just brought it home an hour or two ago

A shortbed is 6ft a long bed is alot longer than that. Youll need decent springs/shocks and sticky tires if you want traction.

yes, it is a shortbed single cab, with prolly a 3,4 drop on it sitting on some hankook ventus st all the way around. shocks look stock they just have some what look like drop shackles? not sure but will new shocks really help that much and if so what do you recomend? trying to upload pics as we speak
