Forged internals question
Can you get you ls1 block internals forged by someone or do you have to buy a new one? If you can what is the cost of it to be done and the time required?

Care to explain? What exactly were you looking to buy forged? JUST the block, or the block including the crank, pistons, etc? Because I'm not sure what you mean by buying a forged block.

forged vs cast refers to how the metal is originally molded.
cast metal is less dense in weight.
The block itself will be the exact same regardless of forged vs cast internals.
The big reason to "go forged" is to have sturdier pistons / rods etc when you are at risk for detonation. The stock internals can only handle so much abuse under high compression or forced induction (supercharger, turbo, nitrus)
Just because the internals are forged does not mean the engine will last longer under small horsepower mods / regular driving. They are still just as likely to burn out the piston rings or destroy a bearing.
There are also things you need keep in mind if build a forged engine...always give it plenty of time to warm up. The pistons won't heat up as fast as a normal engine.
