Default What budget block for a big inch/low boost build

Looking to start building a bottom end, but want to get the block on the cheap if possible. The motor will be run on 91oct and meth with most likely a tvs2300 on it. It will be a street car in the mid to high 3000lbs range. 6.0L truck block be the easiest to source?

You can pick up one of the 6.0 blocks pretty cheap, and that can easily get you in the 400+ cubic inch range.

Awesome thanks. Anyone have a link to a list of what vehicles/years oem cars came with 6.0's? Also, with the tvs2300, and e85, could the aluminum block see its limits? Or would I need a much bigger blower to really push it? I would like the weight savings but don't want to see block issues.

You can find the 6.0 in alot of trucks. If your wanting a lq9 those are in the suburbans iirc. Lq4's are cheap for sure. Alum (sp) is softer not sure what kind of abuse it can take. Im sure a guru can chime in.

LQ4/9 blocks are the exact same just the internals are different. Since you are building from scratch either will work for you. A bare one should go in the $2-300 range.
