Running a 5.3/4L60E from a 2004 GMC for the last couple years. With increasing frequency the engines cuts to idle with no pedal response (driving or stopped) but after turning off/on the key pedal response returns.

If a part is to fail is it most likely to be the pedal assembly or the module the pedal connects to? I’m still chasing through the wiring but haven’t come across a split or bad connection.
