Default what to do to get to 400 Rear HP

Ok per these HP Calculators, Im about 379 Rear Wheel HP> What do I need to do to get to 400, Im thinking Intake manifold would help, but what else without opening the engine and messing with heads and cam.

you won't see anything near 400rwhp withough either messing with the internals or going with a forced unduction route. Maybe 400 at the crank with all boltons, port your TB, get an ls6 intake and maybe a cutout.

I dont think I was that high either, but if you do those HP calculators....anyone ever match them with a dyno...
I hit 108.58 mph at the track and we figured the car weighed with me and gas around 3832. Im sure I can hit 110mph with a very good launch, which I never got Sunday.

I don't think you're that high either. I'm guessing around 350 plus or minus a few. I trap at 108 and I dyno'd 328 rwhp last Saturday (pretty strong for an A4 with only a cat-back and lid). Get it dyno'd and find out.

Actually With The Intake Ud Still Be A Littly Shy Of Where You Estmate Your Self To Be Now Id Say 360 Rwhp And A Good Cam Will Land You 390-415 Depending On Cam Choice And Luck(tunning)

get a ORYP
under drive pullys
LS6 intake
ported TB
good plugs and wires
good fuel filter and thin oil
remove A/C from car (you lose 1 belt)
get a cut-out
maybe a lightweight drivshaft
and a really good tune!
and youll see around 340-360 rwhp

if you really want 400+ you neeed H/C

I agree, you're not at 379 rwhp as your car sits. You might be closer to around 350 rwhp. To break the 400 rwhp mark, you're going to need to go internal. Add a ported throttle body, ASP pulley, plus a nice sized cam and you'll be there.

The only performance mods you have are exhaust. I would count the programming and MAF as iffy to maybe a few rwhp. There is no way you are at 379rwhp...more like 340 or so. Not trying to flame you...just benig realistic. There are quite a few cam packages that will get you over 400rwhp, but since you don't want that, you need to do ALL the bolt-on mods including EWP and maybe a lightweight driveshaft to have a shot at 400. Most HP for bolt-ons I have seen is 370ish...

get on a dyno and get your ACTUAL horsepower and then decide from there. no sense in beating around the bush and playing guessing games. you'll need some interal work to hit 400rwhp, aint gonna happen with the stock cam

You could always go the N20 route.

I am at 338 rwhp with headers and tune up. I turned 108.6 in the quarter. You can't be at 379 rwhp. I am getting a new cam which will put me about 380 rwhp.

Yeah, well I guess Intake will be next then, any thoughts on a nice Head and Cam package if I decide to go that route?

Look at my mods to get an idea of what you need to hit close to 400rwhp. Although I'm still short by 1 rwhp! LOL.

Your gonna need the following......
Lid, Ported TB, Underdrive Pulley, Cam in the range of 224+ duration and last but the most important of all is a LS1 Edit tune! If your car is running without proper tuning and Air to Fuel Ratio you can't make good power.
