Default tune?!?

Hey guys im lookin for some opinions on tuning i have a 99 z28 m6. I have a weiand intake manifold. K&n cold air. And gutted cats going to custom 3 inch exhaust there is a shop in my area that does tunes for 100 my quistion is would it be worth it to have done

For only $100, I would say yes. Are they a reputable shop?

There probably the best performance shop in town i live in reno of anyone was wondering but the tune im pretty sure is like a street tune they hook there laptop up to your car. And rhe other good part about it im sure they would tune my cats out so check engine light goes away

If they are a reputable shop, $100 is great for a street tune

Make sure they delete your torque management at least.

What you mean by my tourqe management ive never heard of that.

Torque Management basically kills torque in between shifts. I have it deleted on my car, it is said to be kind of hard on your transmission though.

There shouldn't be torque management in a M6, is there?

^^Whoops, didn't even catch that he had an M6, but if I recall correctly some years actually had it, not sure which though. This topic has been back and forth a lot, maybe someone in the know can chime in with a straight up answer, I'm actually very interested myself.

Well im gonna go down the shop sometime this week and ill ask around there see if i can get any of there point of views on the subject. But if it was only in autos wouldnt just a simple shift kit make thay go away?
