I have one! It came with the car and I like it because it turns the ss hood into forced induction....
So you are ensured that yr car is getting nothing but cold air. Plus sounds pretty cool when you get on it hearing it suck the air.

Imo they look to big and when you rev it you can here it suck in air. This means it is not flowing good. If you want something that looks sleak under the hood and has been proven to out perform get a ftp lid.

Fast Toys Performance Parts

Buddy of mien has a Volant on his Z28 (SS conversion). He likes it but a lid is all you need. Save yourself a couple hundred bucks and stick with a lid

^THIS, although systems like Volant and K&N look good they don't perform any better then a $100 lid.

I have one but previous owner put it on. I wouldn't spend the extra money for minimal if any gains. I'd buy a $100 lid if I were to do it from a stock standpoint. If you like the look and want to spend the money go for it, just don't expect additional hp over a lid.

As far as "hearing it suck air" means it's not flowing well. That's not true. Take your air filter out and flip the throttle blade and tell me it doesn't make the same sound (actually louder).

I have one. I like it. But if you already have the slp lid theres really no point in spending 300$ for no gain

I have always liked the Volant double filter one. Even if it's not worth the price as so many claim, I plan on trying one out this summer just for the apperance alone. I have the Blackwing which I will not sell, but like the Volant apperance. Good luck either way.
