Default Disable automatic headlights via GM parts swap - Canadian Firebird

I have a 2002 Canadian TA and want to disable the automatic headlight feature. I have seen the posts for jumper bypass methods but would prefer to make the change using a GM parts swap (if possible)

Is there a alternate GM part for US export cars that can be installed in place of the sensor on Canadian cars to disable the automatic headlights ??

(I have no issue with the DRL's and want to deactivate the automatic headligths only)

Thank you.

Do you have a auto or manual transmission?

it's the 6 speed manual - does this make a difference for the headlights?

That's all I've got...jumper seems simple enough. My guess is that there is no "part" to bypass the ambient light sensor. The sensor is added for the Canadian T/A.
